What is Speech Therapy Rehabilitation?
A Speech Therapist fulfills an important role in the team that assists in helping an individual to recover from a stroke, head injury or degenerative disorder. A Speech Therapist would offer assistance in the assessment, treatment and management of communication problems and swallowing difficulties and would offer information to family members about how best to assist their loved ones in the process of recovery.
